Dr. Leonardi is the author of a soon to be published book:
Cycle-Makers and Cycle-Breakers®,a Program For Reversing Diabetes.
He also authored the chapter on Hormone Modulation in the medical bestseller,Forever Young, by Bill Frank.
Why a book on Diabetes? Dr. Leonardi's interest in diabetes grew out of his research on aging and preventive medicine. Diabetics, due to their elevated blood sugar, age (ie; develop degenerative disease) much faster than non-diabetics. Thus the natural tie-in between diabetes and longevity medicine. Dr. Leonardi's research led to the development of a program that allows diabetics to normalize their blood sugar, completely preventing and often reversing diabetic complications. Following Dr. Leonardi's Cycle-Breakers Program, diabetics learn to maintain normal blood sugar 24 hours a day, thus eliminating diabetic complications and the increased risk of coronary disease, stroke, cancer, neuropathy, kidney disease, dementia, obesity and hypertension. Dr. Leonardi is a professional member of the American Diabetes Association and sits on the ADA Council for Molecular, Cellular & Biochemical Aspects of Diabetes and the ADA Council for Nutritional Sciences and Metabolism.
